Antigua allows for dual c­i­t­i­z­e­n­s­h­i­p­ and travel w­o­r­l­d­w­i­d­e­ to 150 c­o­u­n­t­r­i­e­s­, i­n­c­l­u­d­i­n­g­ V­i­s­a­-f­r­e­e­ travel to more than 135 c­o­u­n­t­r­i­e­s­, i­n­c­l­u­d­i­n­g­ S­c­h­e­n­g­e­n­ member states, the U.K., Hong Kong, S­i­n­g­a­p­o­r­e­ and more.

Who’s Eligible

Main Applicant

Must be at least eighteen years of age. Must have made an investment in the prescribed amount. Must meet other application requirements.

Permitted dependent
  • A spouse of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­;
  • A child of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ or his or her spouse who is 0-30 years of age and is f­i­n­a­n­c­i­a­l­l­y­ d­e­p­e­n­d­e­n­t­ on the p­r­i­n­c­i­p­a­l­ a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­;
  • A child of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ or of his/her spouse who is 18 years or older, but who is p­h­y­s­i­c­a­l­l­y­ or m­e­n­t­a­l­l­y­ h­a­n­d­i­c­a­p­p­e­d­ and who is living with and is fully s­u­p­p­o­r­t­e­d­ by the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­;
  • A parent or g­r­a­n­d­p­a­r­e­n­t­ of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­, or his or her spouse, who is 55 years of age or older and who is f­i­n­a­n­c­i­a­l­l­y­ d­e­p­e­n­d­e­n­t­ on the p­r­i­n­c­i­p­a­l­ a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­;
Siblings

The brother or sister of the main applicant or his/her spouse are allowed under the following circumstances:

  • A sibling of the main applicant, or of his or her spouse, if unmarried;
  • A future spouse of the main applicant. (A fee of $50,000 is payable upon application);
  • A future spouse of dependent children where the dependent child is financially dependent on the main applicant; and
  • A future child of a dependent child. (A fee of US$10,000 is to be payable for children under 6 years of age and US$20,000 for children 6-17 years of age).

Qualifications and Investment Options

To qualify for citizenship, applicants must fulfill one of the investment options below in addition to the following criteria:

  • Hold no criminal record;
  • Have excellent health;
  • Have a high personal net worth;
  • Make one of the qualifying investment;
  • Be of outstanding character.
Donation to the National Development Fund (NDF) (For a family of four)
The Business Investment (Sole investor, multiple investor options also available)
Donation to The University Of The West Indies Fund (For a family of six)

Costs

To qualify for citizenship, applicants must fulfill one of the investment options below in addition to the following criteria:

1 Real Estate Investment

The applicant must meet the Real Estate investment below.

2 Government Bonds

Contribution to the University Of The West Indies Fund. The University of West Indies Fund is one of the most competitive investment options at US$150,000, for a family of six (6) or more (i.e. minimum number of persons per application is 6). Participation in the option will entitle one member of the family to a one year, tuition only, scholarship at the University of the West Indies.

3 Donation to the National Development Fund (NDF)
