Who’s Eligible
Main Applicant
Must be at least eighteen years of age. Must have made an investment in the prescribed amount. Must meet other application requirements.
Permitted dependent
- A spouse of the main applicant;
- A child of the main applicant or his or her spouse who is 0-30 years of age and is financially dependent on the principal applicant;
- A child of the main applicant or of his/her spouse who is 18 years or older, but who is physically or mentally handicapped and who is living with and is fully supported by the main applicant;
- A parent or grandparent of the main applicant, or his or her spouse, who is 55 years of age or older and who is financially dependent on the principal applicant;
Siblings
The brother or sister of the main applicant or his/her spouse are allowed under the following circumstances:
- A sibling of the main applicant, or of his or her spouse, if unmarried;
- A future spouse of the main applicant. (A fee of $50,000 is payable upon application);
- A future spouse of dependent children where the dependent child is financially dependent on the main applicant; and
- A future child of a dependent child. (A fee of US$10,000 is to be payable for children under 6 years of age and US$20,000 for children 6-17 years of age).
Qualifications and Investment Options
To qualify for citizenship, applicants must fulfill one of the investment options below in addition to the following criteria:
- Hold no criminal record;
- Have excellent health;
- Have a high personal net worth;
- Make one of the qualifying investment;
- Be of outstanding character.
Donation to the National Development Fund (NDF) (For a family of four)
Minimum Investment: USD $100,000
The Business Investment (Sole investor, multiple investor options also available)
Minimum Investment: USD $1,500,000
Donation to The University Of The West Indies Fund (For a family of six)
Minimum Investment: USD $150,000
Real Estate Investment (Sole investor, multiple investor options also available)
Minimum Investment: USD $400,000
Costs
To qualify for citizenship, applicants must fulfill one of the investment options below in addition to the following criteria:
The applicant must meet the Real Estate investment below.
* In addition to the Real Estate investment there are also Due Diligence, government and processing Fees to be paid.
Contribution to the University Of The West Indies Fund. The University of West Indies Fund is one of the most competitive investment options at US$150,000, for a family of six (6) or more (i.e. minimum number of persons per application is 6). Participation in the option will entitle one member of the family to a one year, tuition only, scholarship at the University of the West Indies.
* In addition to the Government Bonds, there are also Due Diligence and processing Fees to be paid.
Through a one-off donation to the National Development Fund (NDF) an applicant may obtain Citizenship with no qualifying wait period. This onetime payment is sent directly to an escrow account, which is managed by the Citizenship by Investment Unit of the Government.
*In addition to the Donation, there are also Due Diligence, goverment and Processing Fees to be paid.
Principal applicant, on his own behalf or 2 persons for a joint investment makes an investment in an approved business.
