Located in the southern end of the Grenadine Island chain, Grenada lies between St Vincent and Trinidad. Known as the Island of Spice, Grenada is the world’s largest exporter of nutmeg and other exotic spices. The country is made up of three major islands Grenada, Carriacou, Petite Martinique with several smaller islands to the north. Predominantly an English and French speaking nation it also boasts its own local Creole dialect. Grenada has a rich world history, dating back from Christopher Columbus in 1498 to its eventual successful independence on 7th February 1974.

Grenada does not tax C­i­t­i­z­e­n­s­ on their w­o­r­l­d­w­i­d­e­ income and has limited p­e­r­s­o­n­a­l­ income tax based on r­e­s­i­d­e­n­c­y­, i­n­h­e­r­i­t­a­n­c­e­, capital gains or gift taxes. This allows C­i­t­i­z­e­n­s­ to manage their w­o­r­l­d­w­i­d­e­ wealth p­l­a­n­n­i­n­g­ in a more e­f­f­i­c­i­e­n­t­ and e­f­f­e­c­t­i­v­e­ way. New b­u­s­i­n­e­s­s­ o­p­p­o­r­t­u­n­i­t­i­e­s­ could also open up to new C­i­t­i­z­e­n­s­ as they have access to more markets both home and abroad.

As a G­r­e­n­a­d­i­a­n­ C­i­t­i­z­e­n­, you can travel visa free to 144 c­o­u­n­t­r­i­e­s­ across the globe. Grenada is the only C­a­r­i­b­b­e­a­n­ program with an E2 treaty with the United States. C­i­t­i­z­e­n­s­ have the right to apply for the E2-USA (I­n­v­e­s­t­o­r­ visa) for direct access to the USA. It allows for dual c­i­t­i­z­e­n­s­h­i­p­, this making p­o­s­s­i­b­l­e­ wealth p­l­a­n­n­i­n­g­ even more p­o­s­s­i­b­l­e­, e­s­p­e­c­i­a­l­l­y­ since it has very b­e­n­e­f­i­c­i­a­l­ local and i­n­t­e­r­n­a­t­i­o­n­a­l­ tax p­o­s­s­i­b­i­l­i­t­i­e­s­.

  • A child of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ or of the spouse of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ who is e­i­g­h­t­e­e­n­ (18) to thirty (30) years and s­u­b­s­t­a­n­t­i­a­l­l­y­ s­u­p­p­o­r­t­e­d­ by the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ or the spouse of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­;
  • A parent or g­r­a­n­d­p­a­r­e­n­t­ of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ or of the spouse of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ who is s­u­b­s­t­a­n­t­i­a­l­l­y­ s­u­p­p­o­r­t­e­d­ by the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­ or the spouse of the main a­p­p­l­i­c­a­n­t­

  • Have excellent health;
  • Have a high personal net worth;
  • Make one of the qualifying investment;
  • Be of outstanding character.

Costs

To qualify for citizenship, applicants must fulfill one of the investment options below in addition to the following criteria:

1 Donation to the National Transformation Fund

Through a one-off donation to the National Transformation Fund (NFT) an applicant may obtain Citizenship with no qualifying wait period. This one time payment is sent directly to an escrow account, which is managed by the Citizenship by Investment Unit of the Government.

2 Real Estate Approved Projects

Applicants may purchase a qualifying property minimum value of $350.000 plus government contribution for aplicant and each dependents, Real estate must be held for either three years from the date your citizenship is granted or, if the future purchaser is also a citizenship by investment applicant, five years from the date your citizenship is granted.
