Established in 2013, the Grenada Citizenship program has contributed to the nation's growth as a prominent Caribbean destination. Grenadian passport holders enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 145 countries, including the UK, EU, and China. The program also provides tax advantages, with no income tax on global earnings and no international wealth, inheritance, or capital taxes. Grenada is the only Caribbean country with an E-2 Investor Visa treaty with the USA, allowing citizens to apply for a nonimmigrant visa."

Located at the southern end of the Grenadine Islands, Grenada lies between St. Vincent and Trinidad. Known as the 'Island of Spice,' it is the world’s largest exporter of nutmeg. The country consists of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique, with several smaller islands. Predominantly English- and French-speaking, Grenada also has its own Creole dialect. Its rich history dates back to Christopher Columbus in 1498, with independence achieved on February 7, 1974.

Program Benefit
SECURITY AND MOBILITY
Grenada is the only Caribbean country with an E2 treaty with the U.S., allowing citizens to apply for the E2 Investor Visa. This offers direct access to the U.S., dual citizenship, and favorable tax opportunities for wealth planning.
OTHER BENEFIT
Grenada does not tax citizens on worldwide income and has limited personal taxes, including on residency, inheritance, capital gains, or gifts, enabling more efficient wealth planning.
SUCCESSION AND THE FAMILY
The Grenada Citizenship by Investment program provides applicants and their children access to top global schools, qualifying them for domestic rather than international tuition fees.
Who’s Eligible
Main Applicant
Must be at least eighteen years of age. Must have made an investment in the prescribed amount. Must meet other application requirements.
Permitted dependent
- A spouse of the main applicant
- A child under eighteen (18) years old of the main applicant or his or her spouse
- A child of the main applicant or of the spouse of the main applicant who is eighteen (18) to thirty (30) years and substantially supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant;
- A parent or grandparent of the main applicant or of the spouse of the main applicant who is substantially supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant
- A child of the main applicant or spouse of the main applicant who is above the age of eighteen years and physically or mentally challenged
- A biological or legally adopted sibling of the main applicant or of the spouse of the main applicant who is eighteen (18) to twenty-five (25) years, single, childless, and who is substantially supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant
- A biological or legally adopted sibling of the main applicant or of the spouse of the main applicant who is below the age of eighteen (18) years, single, childless, substantially supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant, and in receipt of consent to make an application under the Programme from all individuals with parental responsibility for that sibling
Qualifications and Investment Options
To qualify for citizenship, applicants must fulfill one of the investment options below in addition to the following criteria:
- Hold no criminal record;
- Have excellent health;
- Have a high personal net worth;
- Make one of the qualifying investment;
- Be of outstanding character.
Donation to the National Transformation Fund (NTF)
Investment from $230,000 for a family of four or more. Additional USD 25,000/50,000 per additional dependant after the third dependant, additional sibling USD 75,000
Real Estate Investment
USD 350,000 for a family over four, plus USD 50,000 and USD 25,000 per additional dependant after the third dependant. Or USD 220,000 (for each share in the unit)in approved project for a family more than four members plus USD 50,000 + USD 25,000 for each additional dependent.
Costs
To qualify for citizenship, applicants must fulfill one of the investment options below in addition to the following criteria:
Through a one-off donation to the National Transformation Fund (NTF) an applicant may obtain Citizenship with no qualifying wait period. This one time payment is sent directly to an escrow account, which is managed by the Citizenship by Investment Unit of the Government.
*In addition to the Donation there are also due diligence and processing fees to be paid.
With its economy shifting from agricultural-dominant to service-dominant, one of the most viable options for foreign nationals is an investment in a pre-approved real estate project. Property which must be maintained for a minimum of four years.
